International Staff Week & Study Abroad Fair 2023
OIP had the delightful opportunity of organizing the International Staff Week from 8th to 12th May 2023, where 20 colleagues from various parts of the world were hosted. Throughout this eventful week, participants representing different institutions were provided with a comprehensive introduction to Koç University, the other participating universities, and the strategies employed by educational institutions to foster an inclusive environment that embraces students and staff from diverse backgrounds, promoting meaningful cross-cultural experiences.
Throughout the week, colleagues took part in a workshop regarding multicultural sensitivity, roundtable of communication with Gen Z, an International Student Service Hub session about social integration of international students, traditional Ebru art workshop and much more.
During the Study Abroad Fair, KU students were able to explore how they could incorporate an exchange opportunity into their academic plans, seek guidance from representatives of partner universities, and engage in discussions with Outgoing Exchange Advisors regarding essential information prior to embarking on their study abroad journey.
