We design custom-made programs based on the specific needs of our partners. These programs provide students with an opportunity to have an academic experience at Koç University by receiving lectures from top-tier faculty members, and at the same time getting engaged in a wide array of extracurricular activities. If your institution is interested in creating your own custom-made program at Koç, please contact Mrs. Nilufer Akpinar Şahin at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Stanford at Koç in Istanbul Overseas Studies Program is designed to give Stanford students an integrated study abroad experience in Istanbul and to provide them with an opportunity to experience rigorous academics while at the same time developing a broad awareness, knowledge and appreciation for Turkey, its culture, and its role within the global ecosystem.
The program is also open for Koç students to take courses with the attending Stanford students. The courses offered within this program are open for selection simultaneously as KU’s Spring semester courses. However, applying Koç students are expected to specify in the application form which courses they wish to select in advance of the course opening.
Application is for OIP’s tracking purposes ONLY. Sending the application form does NOT guarantee you a spot in any of the courses. Course quotas are limited. So the selection process will be on a first – come, first – served basis. If the maximum quota is reached for a certain course, applications automatically go to a waiting list.Sending the application form will be considered as student’s commitment to participating in the program. If a student has to cancel participation due to unexpected circumstances, they are required to submit a written excuse to the Dean of Students.
