Are you ready for STANFORD UNIVERSITY’s virtual course experience this summer?
We are happy to announce that the application period for Stanford’s Summer Session International Honors Program (IHP) has started!
International Honors Program (IHP) is a collaboration between Stanford University and leading teaching and research institutions from Asia, Europe, and Central America. Selected students from participating universities are welcomed to Stanford’s eight-week Summer Session. This summer 2021 will be completely virtual platform. Students who attended Stanford’s program this past summer enjoyed an exciting array of online opportunities and virtual experiences that complemented their studies.
In 2021, the online program will prioritize small group work, scheduling flexibility, and hands-on learning. The community building programming will meet students on their own terms and foster lasting connections with other students from around the world.
Here are just some of the things SSIHP is planning for this summer:
In this program, students may choose from approximately 30+ courses from various departments and earn a Stanford transcript at the end. For more information about the program and for the full listing of courses please visit https://summer.stanford.edu/courses

OIP does NOT provide a scholarship for this program.
Stanford offers a 20% discount on 8 units. Anything below 8 units is full price.
* IMPORTANT: The grades are transferred to KU as letter grades, as opposed to just credits, which in return affects your GPA directly.

The IHP Appendix 2021 is being prepared and will be uploaded to our website as soon as it is received from Stanford University.
*Application MUST be made via OIP. Students who apply to Stanford University directly will NOT be able to benefit from the discount on the application and program fees.
