Erasmus+ KA107 Programme (International Credit Mobility-ICM)

Erasmus International Credit Mobility Programme – in short: Erasmus + ICM –offers the HEI staff a chance to go on an Erasmus+ mobility outside of Europe.  KU OIP calls the Erasmus+ ICM scheme “Erasmus+ Worldwide” as it extends beyond Europe, allowing for mobility to other parts of the world.

The mobility can comprise of training, job shadowing, staff weeks or observation activities. The purpose of this type of mobility is to provide opportunity for our staff members to learn from a partner institution’s experience and good implementations in order to to improve required talents for her/his current assignments.

For partner institutions, requirements and program rules, please check the programme web page.

Swiss Mobility for Staff

Due to the outcome of the federal vote on February 9, 2014, the negotiations between Switzerland and the EU regarding the participation in the Erasmus+ programme have been suspended. The Swiss higher education institutions can therefore not participate in Erasmus+ for the time being.

However, lecturers and higher education staff are able to complete a period of training abroad at a partner University in Switzerland in the framework of the new “Swiss-European Mobility Programme” with bilateral exchange agreements. The grants will be paid by the Swiss partner institutions.

For further information, please check our partner universities’ International Office web site.

Many higher education institutions organize International Staff Weeks with a specific theme and participant profile every year.
