"Introduction to Ottoman Epigraphy" focuses on surveying the development of the Ottoman inscriptions from a chronological standpoint starting with the earliest examples in Anatolia. The program will take place in Istanbul and there will be a field trip to Bursa to study inscriptions of critical historical importance in situ. The program will be leaded by experts in the field from University of Chicago.

“Doing Business in the Middle East and Turkey” is an intensive summer program mainly focused on legal components of doing business in the region. The program takes place in İstanbul through the collaboration of Koç University and Santa Clara University. Located in a decisively emerging market growing from regional to global relevance, Koç University welcomes students who would like to learn and experience more about business in this region through lectures, field trips and internship.

The Migration Research Center at Koç University, MireKoç is organizing it's third summer school program on June 16-28, 2013. Designed as a summer school for graduate and PhD students as well as junior experts in the field, in the premises of Koç University's main campus in Sarıyer, Istanbul, the program aims at high-level, research-oriented, interdisciplinary and innovative academic courses on migration as well as workshops on related policy issues for professional development. Lectures & discussions given & led by a distinguished international faculty will also be combined with field trips within Istanbul involving seminars given by policy-makers and implementers.

Focusing on fundamentals & applications of fluorescence microscopy in modern cell biology, Microscopy Course 2012, is an intensive, one week program which is organised by "American Society for Cell Biology" and "Koç University". The participants will gain theoretical & practical experience related with fluorescence & cofocal microscopy. The course will provide hands on experience with advanced imaging techniques. All attendees will use fully equipped research labs with the aid of expert instructors. There will be many opportunities to work with different types of microscopes.

"Research Methodology in Health Sciences" course is being organized by Koç University School of Medicine in collaboration with Provincial Health Directorate of Istanbul and Harvard University School of Medicine since 2010. The aim of this course is research capacity building through local & international research collaborations. The long term vision is the inauguration of a regional center of excellence in research training in the field of health sciences. The objectives are data management, study design, statistical application, research & publication ethics.

The International Graduate Summer School in Advanced Research Methods & Statistics in Social Sciences (AREMSIS) aims to provide graduate level training to MA & PhD students, post-doc researchers and young social scientists in the fields of Psychology, Sociology, Political Sciences, International Relations & Economics. The courses in the summer school include advanced regression analysis, hierarchical linear models (HLM), structural equation modeling (SEM), survey design & sampling, content & textual analysis, mixed method research. Faculty teaching in AREMSIS are affiliated with reputable universities from US, Europe & Turkey and they are recognized experts in their fields.

Supported by Fiat scholarship budget of Koç University, on 2012 Summer, Fiat Italia Summer Program will be repeating again with two different language school; one in Rome and other one in Florence. “International Special Projects Department” is working closely with the Dean and the Associate Dean of Students on decisions of scholarship distributions, agreements with language schools in Rome and in Florence, budgeting and placement of the program. In addition to that our department is in charge of accommodation, flight arrangements, insurance arrangements, tracking the visa applications of students and tracking the group of students with the assistance of group leaders during their stay in Italy.
Each year the program is getting more and more popular among the Koç University students and this program encourages them to learn Italian Language and attend Italian courses at Koç University. On 2011, 35 students attended the program and out of 35 students, 16 of them succeeded to receive full scholarship for the program.

Peacemakers Program aims to frankly and openly address of the most salient obstacles in our global efforts toward peacemaking: the prejudices that color and sometimes dictate our interactions with one another. Led by Prof. Donna Hicks and the Dignity Model that she has refined over the past decade, young leaders coming from selected neighboring countries of Turkey will engage in an interactive, intensive workshop aiming to overcome the dimensions of prejudice currently entrenched in regional dynamics.
